The pawlar makes my life so much easier. I used to go every month to the vet for flea and tick preventions. Now it's just as simple as putting the collar on and then your good for several months.
It worked pretty well, but unfortunately for me my puppy out grew it in just 4 months. Next time will consider leaving more excess length until full grown.

Spot-ons were my go to before, but I would experience problems like not being able to bathe my dogs 5 days prior to getting the spot on and then having to wait another 5 days for the medicine to absorb 10 days all in all of my dogs being stinky and greasy. Now with the pawlar all those problems are gone. I also don't like injections because my cousin had a dog that would get injections for flea and tick preventions and my cousin's dog died. That's why I don't like injections. The pawlar is definitely the best tick and flea solution by far!
My dog is super sensitive to everything. Most tick and flea treatments made her itch. With the pawlar however, no reaction at all. It works well!
